Eric's blog yesterday at ParisDailyPhoto reminded me to share this photo of a well-preserved windmill that still stands right in the middle of Main Street, in Grapevine's historic district. Yes, we have a windmill in our midst. It was interesting to discover that these types of wood windmills (as opposed to the ones that we know come from the Netherlands) were first made in Connecticut. A Windmill in Our Midst
