Yes, we indeed have flamingoes in the metroplex! Since it's the first day of spring break, my 8th grader and I decided to pay them a visit at the Dallas World Aquarium in the historic West End district of Dallas. Aren't they just lovely?

Neat, we were just talking about this place today and how it was more than fish. I am going to have to check it out.
I was planning on taking my 7th grader to the Ft. Worth Zoo this week, but we haven't been to the Aquarium yet, so our plans might change!

Yes. definitely more than just fish. We were quite surprised to see these pink creatures towards the end of our tour!
